About — The Firm
Qic Trade Systems Limited is a software development firm, registered in the Republic of Seychelles as an International Business Company. We build platforms, marketplace IP, APIs, and operational tooling for technology businesses operating across multiple jurisdictions. Our work is licensed to clients who require dependable engineering rather than off-the-shelf software.
The firm is the software and intellectual property entity. We engineer; we do not operate. Our work covers full-stack web applications, backend infrastructure, integration surfaces, and platform architecture. Each engagement leaves the client with the code, the documentation, and the primitives they need to run the product themselves.
We are a small senior team that works closely with the people we build for. We hold firm opinions on architecture and stay conservative about dependencies. The people here have built platforms and products for years, and we do the work without theatre.

Services
We work across the whole life of a system, from the first architecture diagram to years of maintenance after launch. Each discipline is staffed by senior engineers who have shipped the work before.
1
Custom platforms, web applications, and internal tools built from a small senior team. We engineer for longevity rather than short-term throughput.
2
Multi-party matching engines, ledger systems, settlement queues, and the transactional spine that lets a marketplace count to two without losing money. Designed as software, licensed to operators.
3
End-to-end engineering across discovery, prototyping, delivery, and post-launch iteration. We work alongside founders or product teams, not around them.
4
Public APIs, third-party integrations, identity and payment provider wiring, webhook orchestration. We make systems talk without losing audit trail.
5
Service decomposition, data modelling, scalability and resilience patterns. The architecture is written down before the first commit.
6
Design systems, component libraries, and accessible front-end work. We treat the design system as production code, not a Figma file.
7
Architecture reviews, technical due diligence, retained CTO engagements for investors and operating boards. Honest assessments, written down.
Technology
We write the architecture down. When the decisions and trade-offs are on record, the system stays understandable as it grows, even to someone who joins years later. We work across the major clouds, and we are slow to add a new dependency.
We build systems that absorb growth without re-architecting. Capacity planning, isolation boundaries, and graceful failure modes are designed into the first commit rather than retrofitted under load.
Multi-region, multi-tenant footprints engineered to respect sovereign data residency requirements. Provider-agnostic where the math justifies it, opinionated where it does not.
We build the internal platforms most teams skip: observability, CI/CD, deployment pipelines. They get changes merged faster without raising operational risk. Where others treat this as a byproduct of growth, we build it on purpose.
Admin consoles, audit trails, reconciliation utilities. Operational software is rarely glamorous, which is exactly why it must be built with the same care as the customer-facing surface.
Internal tooling that pairs senior engineers with model-assisted scaffolding, accelerating delivery without lowering the review bar. We publish nothing public about specific model choices.
